Terms And Conditions For Uploading A Project

Get Your Project Listed On The DIY World



The DIY World is now welcoming uploads from our guests. If you have a cool project that you would like to share with the world, please send it to us. Here is how:

Document

To submit projects for inclusion on The Do It Yourself World website, please send your ideas in .doc or .txt format. Try to use clear, proper English and grammer. Be as detailed and specific in your descriptions as possible.

Photos

To include a photo or image in your document, please surround the image name with brackets as shown below:

To place two or more photos side by side, simply list them next to each other with a space in between:

Photos should be between 600 to 1000 pixels and in JPG or GIF format. Send clear, good quality photos. Fuzzy our out of focus photos will be rejected. You can compress all of your photos with zip format to upload and include with your message. Please feel free to send a project covering any subject you want. We have room to grow and will be happy to post any good idea.

Example

Please see the following example. Here is a section of one of our projects:



Now, get out your twine or other suitable wick material and a pair of scissors. Cut the twine to the height of your container. The one in the example was three inches high. Next, feed the twine onto the wire frame you made in the previous step. This will allow the wick to stand upright at all times. See photos below.
